Schafer Bows has offered the signature checkering on the bows since the 80's and carvings on bows for about 20 years now. You will usually see them in accents on various parts of the riser or around the checkering. Occasionally you will see a carved antler, a bird or animal but mostly you will see variations of leaves and scroll work in relief form. It has always been our goal to find time in our schedules to build a " one of a kind" bow with solid carvings on the riser but do it in a way that's classy, subtle and beautiful to the eye. This beautiful bow was creatively crafted through hours of design, hand tooling, stippling and the signature checkering. So here it is........
